PLUM VODKA belongs to the national drinks of Azerbaijan and is produced according to classic recipes. Plum vodka MEY is produced in the famous Azerbaijani region of Shamkir, located on the Lesser Caucasus Ranges, on the Kura lowland. Black plum fruits are used exclusively as raw materials, since black plum contains the largest amount of sugar among many varieties. The pitted fruits are kept in special containers and, with the addition of yeast, are brought to fermentation. After double distillation in a German-made Charente-type limbeck and cooling, the MEY drink is obtained.
